I wouldn't use a car seat that was manufactured in 2010.

I have a car seat made in 2011 that expires in 2017- so a six year life. I wouldn't use this since it is six years old.

Look up the model and see how long it's good for. It's probably expired or very close to expired though. My daughter's old Graco has 7 year dating, but not all of them are the same.

This manufacturer says it stamps the expiration date on the car seat since their products expire at different times between 6-10 years

Eta the snug ride line has a 7 year life
