SO and I are not sure if our baby is a girl for sure however we have our nursery set up and had a baby shower already lol. When we went for our ultrasound she had her legs crossed but tech said she was 80% sure it was a girl. I kept bringing up the question of maybe getting a 3D ultrasound done to make sure and we never got to it. Well here I am now 37 weeks and SO has brought up the subject now but will they still do one if I'm this far into my pregnancy?

I would think so. I just had a normal ultrasound at 34. The biggest problem is that baby is so large that he is all squished up in a ball but at this point it should still bw easy to check the gender as the bits are all fully formed.

The 3D/4D places will most definitely do an ultrasound now & even past your edd (anytime actually because u are paying cash 4 their services). The 3D/4D place in my area guarantees the sex at 16 wks so at 37 wks u will 4 sure know what sex your LO is. I just had my 3D/4D ultrasound done at 36 wks & loved it!

I'm getting one done tomorrow at almost 35 weeks. They say the best shots are 28-32 weeks but they will do them up to 38 and will let you come back in if baby refuses to cooperate.

I did one at 36 weeks with my first and everything was perfectly clear. Her face looked pretty funky from being smashed against the placenta, but her parts were very obvious.

Okay I will be calling to make an appt soon hopefully so let's hope I can get some good pics and determine if she's 100% girl (:
