Try giving them a call and see if they’ll let you sign him up. Our rec ball teams usually still takes kids late.

I fb messaged the secretary/treasurer (we know each other) and asked her and I also emailed the lady in charge of registering. Lady on fb said she’d check tomorrow and let me know. So there’s still a big fat chance that it’s a “no.” I’ve honestly never felt this horrible for him. He’s going to be heartbroken ?

Would he be interested in trying another sport for Spring?

Sorry, just saw your response. I’m not sure what other sports are in the spring? Soccer has always been his fav. I’m still waiting on hearing back but I don’t think they’ll let him register late. I am thinking karate and tumbling, but both sports are nothing like soccer. He’s in gymnastics too.

Spring is baseball season. Would he like to try that?

Hopefully I can get him signed up for it. He’s never played before. I’m scouring the Internet for info on it.

He just turned 6. He’s been playing since he was 4 for both spring and fall. I am still really bummed about missing registration. I looked into coach pitch and it should be around March, hopefully.
