My SO asked for me to wear red and to have metal over my stomach. So I thought fine. But then he walked in with a long red cord like thing and our house key at the end and asked me to wear it! I didn't have the heart to say hell no in front of him, so I called him On my way to work and said I was already wearing red and my jeans have a piece of metal. Anyone else stuck doing this today? Lol

Ladies, it's a superstition. You're supposed to wear red and have something metallic to protect the baby from deformations the eclipse will "cause"

My mom texted me last night, and asked me to please stay home and wear red lol I don't believe in any of that, plus I told her I'll probably still b sleeping so not to worry. Lol
