Vacation Where's your summer vacation going to be? I'm trying to decide between San Diego, San Antonio or Las Vegas lol.…

I will be lounging on my couch all summer ?

I've never been to any of those three. Sounds fun though, my husband was just in Vegas for work and he had a great time and said we should go back all together.

We visited family in Georgia for 5 days already this summer. We aren't going too far from home the rest of the summer. We've got a nice amusement park here in Ohio called cedar point that we did a long weekend at. In August we're going to PA to an amusement park called waldameer, and to deer park which is kind of like a zoo where you can feed the animals and interact with them. We'll do more next summer when I'm not pregnant.

San Diego! They have tons of stuff for all ages.

We are actually going on vacation tomorrow. We live in the philly area we are headed to sea isle city tomorrow for the week. My boys love the beach. I'm so excited. Starting to pack right now!!!

I have been to & love San Antonio & Las Vegas. I'm not sure exactly what all Vegas has for little kids but I know that San Antonio could be fun! I also spent a ton of money in Vegas lol. San Diego would probably be awesome too. That's a hard choice!!

San Antonio is a lot of fun. They have a lot of stuff kids can do on the riverwalk, but I went in February and there was SO many homeless people. I mean almost everytime you turn a corner someone is asking for money. It was super dissapointing.

No vacation for me but I will suggest las Vegas in the fall or spring bc it's already 114 degrees here! It's only going to get hotter. Lol.

I'd take a 5 year old to San Diego & I've lived there, as well as Vegas. Not sure about San Antonio but you can't beat San Diegos beach, zoo and the Del Mar fair ?

I've been to all three of those places and I'd say San Diego would be my top choice for sure. Great weather, beaches, restaurants, the SD Zoo is off the charts incredible. San Antonio was unbearably hot and humid for me, felt really crowded and cramped and just in general not a place I care to ever return to (but I know many people disagree!). Vegas is actually great for all ages but I would save that trip for an adults-only vacation to fully enjoy everything.

Ludwick if you take them through the hotels your going to have to take them through a smoke filled casino as well. Out here -in the casinos- smoking is allowed. The non smoking sections are few and very small usually about 10 slot machines in the area. You still have to walk through smoke to get to the non smoking areas. Even to get to the rooms from the check in counter you usually have to pass through the casino.

Walt Disney world. We go every year, we love it lol.

We are doing Santa Barbara in August for ds's 1st angelversary. ☺️?

We never go north lol, so decided to make our first trip up extra special.

My vacation will be when i give birth in aug. Ill have ppl changing my bed, making my food, cleaning up after me. A tv that wont be playing cartoons. Too bad itll only be for 24hrs ?

I love San Antonio! And there's plenty for kids to do. But I will say that in the summer it will be hot and humid, so keep that in mind.

We were going to do San Diego but funds weren't enough for what I wanted to do.

So off to sand surfing.

I was leaning more towards San Antonio because it's closer but you guys may have swayed my decision. My SO is leaning to CA and I didn't even think about the heat in Vegas, which is a crazy valid point! If we fly, I'm getting a few hour layover in Vegas and that'll be enough time to take him down the strip, m&m world, Hershey's, and into the bellagio conservatory lol. But if we drive (which is what I originally wanted to do), then we won't even go towards Vegas (SO only gets one week paid vacation). I wonder if he can get more days off though lol.

No vacation ugh SO started a new job and they have deadlines they must meet hes working 6 days a week 10 to 12 hour days

Omg, I forgot about Disneyland! Forget six flags lol

We're visiting family in Connecticut & Maine at the end of June/beginning of July.
