Who uses it? Would you consider it a secure site when it comes to giving out your credit card info etc.? My SO bought car parts with my credit card (with my permission) and I thought it was from some auto site. He just said it was eBay. Now I'm freaking out because he was asking for my billing address and all of my card info. Idk how eBay even works I've never used it. Is it just for random people selling their things?

I use ebay, but always pay through PayPal and in all the years I've used it I never had any issues. Are you sure he didn't create a PayPal acct? It's like an insurance for online payments and will recover any lost costs.
ETA: Look at the sellers ratings to see what problems they've had.

I use ebay and I pay through paypal, I've never had an issue except some items take a while to ship.

I didn't think ebay allowed plain credit card transactions? I thought it was only thru paypal?

Im pretty sure all transactions are thru PayPal and very secure. I wouldn't worry. I use ebay all the time and I've never had any problems.

Also positive it's all through PayPal. Also I check the ratings from the buyers. I have quite a few things for baby I need to buy off there.

Always pay thru PayPal. It protects the buyers as well as the sellers in case of scams.

Don't worry I've been spending like crazy on eBay for baby items lol both my husband and I and never had a problem .... only once when a guy paid us and never collected !! After a year they closed our query and we had the item and his £200! And put the desk up for sale again!
