It looks like its blistering just a little. Put burn cream, gauze, and wrap it up. It should be gone within a few days! Change the gauze 2-3 times daily
Poor baby! And poor momma! My son burned his finger on the iron when he was about a year old. I felt like the worlds biggest a****** !
I would just keep an eye on it. Cool rags and aloe should help. You can put some burn cream or spray on it. I would probably leave it open to air unless it blisters and pops. If it does blister, leave it alone and don't pop it. Let it pop or reabsorb on its own.
Buy burn cream keep it covered to prevent any germs while it heals. When you change wrapping let it air out for a bit. Call the pedi if it looks off to you or just to make yourself feel better. Accidents happen and I'm sorry for you both.
Accidents happen mama! Don't beat yourself up too much. I spilled a pot of boiling water in the kitchen while my son was on the floor, lucky for him it only landed on me but it could have been much worse!
Not sure about burn first aid just wanted to let you know that we've all been there in some way or another
Accidents happen! Don't beat yourself up over it. When my daughter was 18 months old she put both hands on my parents gas fireplace and burned the palms of both of her hands very badly. We had to go to the burn unit in a hospital out of town to have her hands re bandaged every other day. It was an awful experience but she is 7 and doesn't even have a scar! Kids are tough ?
