Is it a burn or just red? If it's bad like a blister is forming I'd take him to the doctor or Er. If it's red I'd put some burn cream on it and wrap it in gauze . Accidents happen just to make you feel better when my dd was 8 months old she pulled down my straightner off the counter and burnt her hand. She was ok. It blistered and completely healed in a week.

If it's just red, no blistering, its fine. You don't need to do anything to it and it should go away within the day. We all make mistakes, remember that your kiddo will be okay crying for 30 seconds in a safe place while you grab something from the oven!

Do you have Aloe? It really depends on how bad the burn is. Throw a wet cloth in the freezer and apply it to the area if he is still in discomfort. If it welts or blisters you may have to get a burn cream. Also if its not doctor bad a pharmacist can recommend something over the counter hat can help.

Aww mama dont beat yourself up. Things happen and it wasnt intentional. I was letting dd cook with me and I turned for one second to grab a spoon and she touched a hot baking sheet I had just pulled out. We where making muffins. It turned red and luckily didn't blister..... Put pickle juice on it. That will help with the burn. The vinegar helps take the sting away. I've done this for years when I burn myself. If it does blister and lo being only 3 mo I would see his doc just to be sure nothing gets infected. Again you're not a horrible mom. If you where you wouldn't be posting asking for help.
