Colostrum is all baby needs. Their stomach is the size of a marble so they do not need much. Colostrum helps get rid of the meconium in their system. As they need more than colostrum your body changes to meet baby's need and your milk comes in. Isn't it amazing!
Nothing other that what comes out of your breast which is colostrum. I never even considered giving my daughter anything else. I just latched her on and let nature take its course. My milk was in by day 3 and I actually had an oversupply for the first 5 months.

Yeah let them live on your boob. I was pretty exhausted and miserable the first three days because it seemed like baby was always latched on.
