Right a few months back I found out my step dad was cheating on my mum ( she knew about it) little background history on my mum she's had cancer 3 times were hoping this time it's the last time but this time it hit her badly she basically hit the bottle and hasn't stop drinking she will go to work and drink about 3 bottles a night - the person my step dad was cheating on my mum with is someone I use to work with before I went on maternity leave.. I keep hearing loads of stories my mum is hardly around now well she hasn't been since I found out I was pregnant. I have been speaking to woman my step dad cheated on my mum with and she was saying he's missing me and wants to talk to me and see me and tell me everything but I don't wanna feel bad for talking to my step dad as I don't wanna hurt her what would you ladies/gents do? Thanks in advance. Xx

I'm confused... So you wanna tell your stepdad that the woman he cheated on with is saying she misses your stepdad?

I read it as your step dad is missing you. If I read it the right way, I'd give him a chance, see what he has to say. It's not great what he's done but it's extreme circumstances. Good luck in whatever you choose xxx

My mum left my dad for someone else. They had no relationship really and should have divorced years ago. That being said she should have done things the right way. But she's still my mum and my dad would never begrudge me a relationship with her. What was your relationship like with your step dad? Was/is he a good man (aside from the cheating). Maybe it's worth meeting him for a chat? X

Yeah sorry it doesn't Make much sense now.. Yeah she was saying my step dad was missing me.. I don't know if it will help but there's a lot of things I need to know and I didn't know if it was a good thing to do.. I knew I would get honest answers on here. Xx

He was a good man he brought me up from the age of 3 my dad wasn't so good back then. Xx

My mum and stepdaughter are no longer together but I still talk to him as he is my dad, maybe not by blood but h raised me. Take the chance to talk to him now or u maybe come to regret it later in life x
