Yeah they are also if u have a sure start centre they are great also

You can be a sahm but u have to work 16hrs or u will not get help and have to actively looking for work example:u will have to go job centre every 3weeks and they line u up with interviews if u don't attend these then no benifits

If your other half worked and u just wanted to be a stay at home mum it would just be tax credits you would be entitled to I'm sure x

You would get child benefit, tax credits and maybe housing benefit and council tax reduction depending on your partners wage x

I think you could make an appointment at the job centre and they will help you they was really helpful with me and explained what I would get added everything up ect not sure about if your partner was working I'm just going on what I was told and I'm a lone parent so maybe it works different if your partner work x

He does work in the army he only gets 18000 a year at the most. My current job won't do then shifts ive asked for so I can't get childcare to help me out xx

You don't have to go for interviews or look for work until you're child starts school. Well not in Scotland anyway. Even if you're a single parent.
