Flexi contracts
Anyone work in the nhs that has done one of these I don't know how to fill it out lol, I'm panicking a lot because my partner is in the army and goes on a lot of training with only a couple of days notice my hours would be from 7am till 7.30pm. I'm also scared that they won't give me the days I know I can do. I didn't think going back to work could be so stressful. Xx

Do you mean flexible working agreements? Iv just filled one in to always have Tuesdays and Wednesdays off, long day on Thursdays then the rest of my hours Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. It means my husband can work part time Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays and my daughter will go to nursery for 1 day a week on Thursdays.
I don't know how to full the form out when short notice is needed. The best thing to do would be to speak to your line manager x

Nhs are normally good at accommodating mums nd stuff .. I work for nhs children and families team also nd found them really supportive during pregnancy .. Maybe depends where you work in nhs ?? Speak to team lead ? X

Do u mean working on the nhs 'bank'? Mite be something to consider as u can take as many or as little shifts as u like. They call u up and u ever say yes or no, that simple x

Hmm maybe being on bank might be better than actually working on a ward it's only while my partners in the army it's gonna be quite hard. Xx

Bank staff r used everywhere from wards to clinics, mental health settings etc. if u ring ur local hospital switch board ask them to put u thru to bank co ordinator
