Do you think i may have put him in to many layers, I hate second guessing I just wish I knew what to actually do xx

For my little girl that would be to many layers at 21 degrees as she's a really hot baby, she'd have a sleepsuit and a 1 tog bag at that temp, her room tonight was 17.5 so she's in a vest, sleepsuit and her 2.5 tog bag. I saw a temp clothing guide on here once will find it and bump it for you xx

I hate this :( feel like such a crappy mum I don't even know how to dress him for bed properly, he's just woke up but he doesn't feel warm. Xx

Don't feel crappy hun, I constantly doubt myself too and my lg is 14 months now, when the weather changes I'm straight back on to find that guide or googling what should my baby wear to bed lol! Xx

Thanks ladies, all I've done this week is constantly doubt myself, breaking down most days because of lack of sleep my son use to sleep through and now for the last week he wakes every hour and I have no clue as to what's wrong. Being a mum is so hard :( xx

But my 7.5month old has a thick fleece blanket on top of his mattress then he wears a vest & sleep suit and then has a cellular blanket And a fleece blanket on top of him or In a 2.5 tog sleep bag, in a room that's normally around the 21 mark ? he's always been fine he like to be cosy at bed time or he won't sleep x

No not teething. As soon as I put him in his crib he cries or hell sleep for like 10 minutes then scream again i just don't know what to do anymore xx

Not at all Darceys room is 24 she has 2.5 tog baby grow and a blankie over her sheet x

Hey hun if you go to the gro bag website they have a guide for what to dress your baby in at each temperature. I've found it really helpful. You could print it off and keep it upstairs so you can check it as the colder weather creeps in. At 21 my lg has a long sleeved vest and a 1 tog sleeping bag.

My daughter use to be like this so I would give her an extra ounce at night and then when I go I bed dream feed her

You need to do what's best for your baby Hun don't be so hard on yourself. My little girl likes to be warm and cosy. We noticed she started waking up a bit in the night for few days on a trot them we went and stayed in a hotel for a couple nights. They had a cot with a double duvet on the bottom then a sheet, I then layed her blanket on top so smelled of her and had her in her 2.5 tog couldn't tell you what temp room was but wasn't hot or cold felt perfect. Anyway she slept like this for 2 nights and slept right through for 12 hours each night. So when we got home we put our spare duvet on top of her mattress followed by a large soft blankie of hers then she sleeps in sleep suit no vest 2.5 tog grow bag room varies between 19-21 and she sleeps right through 12 hours like she did at the hotel. She likes to be very snugly and never feels hot when I check on her, if she does feel hot (which is very rare) I just undo the gro bag and she fine. Don't beat yourself up Hun xx

Thank you ladies, I would up his bottles but he's been only having 3-4oz every 3-4 hours even though he use to have 6-7oz before. He did sleep better once we put the sheet down I actually got more than 2 hours and now I feel good again. Just hate not knowing what to do with him sometimes. Just wish it came naturally to me like it does with so many other mums around me. Xx

You could try dream feeding him another bottle couple hours after his feed to top him up and see how that works. I have a few occasions where I dream feed my little girl. For example she has 8oz before she goes bed sometimes she will only take a little of it. So u let her go bed as normal and couple hours later I make fresh bottle and dream feed her otherwise she wakes up. Also have you tried dummy of anything. Oh and you could always put a item of your clothing like a t-shirt that you have worn so smells of you in cot under his head. The smell of you will comfort him and hopefully encourage him to sleep better xx

Yeah I may just try the dream feed and see how it goes. He hasn't took a dummy since he was a week old, he prefers sucking his thumb, I'm gonna do the dream feed and I'll try the item of clothing see how he gets on. Thank you ladies so much. So glad I have this app xx

Maybe try and stretch the feed so he takes more oz?

It's already every 4 hours and if I stretch it anymore he won't get the 5 bottles xx
