Feeling distant
I feel so distant from my partner, I mean just before bed I gave him a cuddle because he's off with the army for a few days and he couldn't even cuddle me back. He hardly tells me he loves me to my face and sometimes I don't even get a kiss - I've always tried having date nights even when I've not wanted to leave my son I still have for him. We haven't sex since a week before I gave birth but that's my fault because I has a 3rd degree tear I just haven't felt ready. I feel like I've lost him. :(

It's really common sadly :(
How old is your baby? Sometimes it can be just as draining for a dad so they can be put off things like sex. I've been having the same issue for about 4-5 weeks now and it's really been getting me down but after reading a lot online it says to sit and talk see if there's a cause and if so how you can both work towards getting back on track.
Hope things work out xx

He's 4 months old. Even if I tell how I feel he will storm off (tried in the past) but thanks for your kind words just kinder sick of feeling down xx

It's not easy to start the conversation off, but once you do and you both calmly and patiently talk to one another things can move on and improve. Men often feel pushed to the side , common - some reassurance should help , and feeling close doesn't have to be full sex. You can do lots of other things. Good luck - you'll both be fine ? x

I still make sure he gets the other stuff. I've tried telling him how I feel but he hardly listens I don't know maybe time apart while he's on exercise might help who knows thanks xx
