Dropping centiles
Just been to see the drop in health visitor as wanted to see what Oliver weighed, he was 9.6 when he was born he's now 3 months old, & now he weighs 15.11 he's very long, but he's drop nearly 2 centiles should I be worried? He seems happy to me. He drinks 5-7oz every 4 hours and sleeps through the night.

You know your baby best - if he's hitting his milestones, is happy and alert, and has all the usual wet and dirty nappies then he's fine hun. My daughter was born on the 75th centile and almost immediately dropped to the 50th. At 4.5 months old she's now on the 25th - some HVs have tried to make me feel bad, but she's BF on demand, has the usual nappies and is such a happy and bubbly little girl, so I take what they say with a pinch of salt now x

Oh and I know boys grow at a different rate to girls, but if it helps at all my daughter was 8lb 2oz when born and was 13lb 1oz last week at 19 weeks old x

Thank you so much ladies. I always worry about him but this made me worry more. He seems perfectly happy to me and reaching all his milestones, the hv didn't make me feel bad but I know my actual one will because she made me feel crap when my son had thrush. Xx
