Shame because I really wanted it to. Apparently it's like 12 hours of freedom and just wash it out in the shower ?

Cons: takes a couple of tries to get the placement right, i usually wear a panty liner on the first day or two.

Pros: cost effective, only needs to be changed 2x a day i do it in the shower. I cant feel it, i am able to run and workout with mine. It is a game changer. I love mine.

I paid 40$ for mine I've only had one problem since and I've been using it for a year. I was spotting so I had to buy another cup because I didn't have mine I forgot to wash it and I became very, very itchy for about 4 days. Other than that I've been fine. The first one I bought didn't do that. All I do is bend it in half squat and it's fine. I change it maybe 3 times a day. If you're going out you don't have to change it unless you're out for a super long time. It's best for spotting at the end of your period too because you don't have to worry about changing a tampon every time you pee and when you change it there isn't anything on there so you decided not to put one in and of course you spot in your undies. I highly recommend it, also tampons are very bad for your plumbing you don't have to worry about that with the cup.

I have the blossom cup. It's freaking fantastic. It was a cheaper option compared to the diva cup and I believe it has a money back guarantee. I bought it on Amazon for about $15 or so.

I don't run out of tampons and forget to buy more, I can't feel it when it's in, even emptying in public isn't an issue because I carry wipes with me (even before I had another in diapers). I can't say it's helped with cramps, since I had my first I rarely cramp and when I do they aren't so bad but I've heard it's reduced cramping for others.

I use a moon cup. The longest I've gone without emptying and rinsing it is 8 hours. It does take a little practice getting the placement right. There is a stem that is supposed to help with removing the cup, but I had to cut it off or it felt like it was stabbing me whenever I sat down. I've read online that some ladies will take a water bottle into the restroom to help with rinsing it out. I've never had to do that, but it's an option if you have to empty it while you're out.

@PP I had debilitating cramps before I had my daughter and now its not as bad. I do cramp significantly more with a tampon. I used to have to drug myself a week before the red death started and now I don't take any meds but maybe this will help. I've seen nothing but good about it. My cycle just ended so I'm planning on getting it before my next one. I have a terrible hate for tampons and pads feel like I might as well out one of my daughter's diapers in my pants. I have to wear pads to bed though because after a full day of tampons I'm so irritated it's extremely hard to get them in. I'm also terrified of tss.

I use the soft cup, it's disposable. Each one is good for 12 hours, although there's no toxic shock risk so it's not not a huge deal if you leave it a little longer. It's a little messy, so I make sure I don't have to change it while in public. It looks intimidating but you just squeeze the sides together, push it up to your cervix, and release it. It form fits to the inside of your vagina and to get it out you just hook your finger underneath the rim and pull it out, I've never had a problem getting it out. You might have to bear down, which is like when you push poop out, but otherwise it's easy. Then I dump as much blood into the toilet as I can, wrap it in toilet paper and throw it away. I don't usually have an issue with leaking unless I have a really really heavy flow, and even then I'll just change it sooner than I usually would

Love the diva cup. How often you have to empty it depends on your flow. I only have to empty it in the morning and evening in my own bathroom. I've emptied it in a public washroom before. Not a big deal.

I love mine. I can 12 hours without having to worry. On my heavy day I usually empty sooner.
