mice? What does a mouse sound like? Does it sound like a squeaky toy? Reason I ask is because I was laying on my couch…

They are pretty quiet. If you could hear it, maybe it was a rat? They usually only squeak when they are fighting though, they don't just make noise for something to do like birds. Could it have been a spring in the couch squeaking? A gate outside?

Yup like a low squeak this abnonded parking lot was bought and they started digging up so the whole area had a huge mouse problem before winter. They were in my walls ?. Honestly worst experience I ever had it was so nasty and gross. They were in my house. Outside in the streets it's disgusting. When they crawl around it sounds like scratching very fast annoying scratching. Took about a month of it to settle down we bought rat poisoning and these sound machines that annoy them. Make sure you close up any cracks or holes in the house and outside of the house. We didn't know we had a hole outside of the house they were so tiny honestly my husband was too cheap for Orkin but if you could spend the money and have them fix it. Having mice is such a horrible experience at least for me it was.

You know what squeaks too? Bats ?! I thought there were mice in my walls and called an exterminator and come to find out I actually had bats in my chimney!!

@pp definitely not a bat. I have lots of experience as they hang out around at night outside and this squeak was nowhere near the the same squeak. Bats squeaks just dig at your soul..

Sounds like mice. I'm currently battling some atm too.
