Cervical scarring
Not pregnant but I was wondering ; in my pregnancy my dr told me I had scar tissue from a precious cryosurgery on my cervix and it was the cause of me being slow to dilate . Has anyone had this and then gotten pregnant again , and did you have the same issue on your next pregnancy ? I'm kind of scared to get pregnant again just because of that .

I should add the reason it makes me scared to get pregnant , and this might sound unreasonable , is I had a lot of Braxton hicks contractions from 18 weeks on. Almost constantly . It makes me wonder if my cervix being slow to open is what kept me from having him prematurely and this time might have An incompetent cervix or something .

Right , which I will . She did tell me it was a relatively common problem so I thought I would see if anyone else that had the same thing had problems in their second pregnancy .
