I don't have it yet but I will. I had it severely last time and took humalin morning and night. My dr did an a1c at first appointment and it was perfect. She said its weird because I'm not even prediabetic when I'm not pregnant but last time I went to the endocrinologist and my sugar was 525. She freaked out. So for me it's only a matter of time.

Me as well, but I was diabetic (type 2 pre-pregnancy), I'm on insulin as well- 2 types- humilin and novolog. But my doc said I'm doing great- I just have to control my lows :/ but at least it's not high lol. I guess more carbs for me. Good luck!

I had a hard time doing the shots at first. My fiancé gave them to me til I was brave enough to do it. Lol I take 24 units of humalin in the morning and another 28 in the evening. They want my fasting under 100 and 2 hr after meals under 120. I've been on it for about a month now and sugars are doing good but I have to force myself to eat more often cuz they tend to dip to 70 then I shake.

I tried eating the low carb diet and my intestines totally rebelled against the idea. I felt like a failure and sooo sick. Luckily my dietitian is awesome and reassured me that it'll be okay lol

Taking 10 units of NPH at night. I was a scared cry baby at the office afraid to put a needle in my tummy. It's not bad, to my surprise.

Just started insulin 2 nights ago with fasting sugars going from the 110's to 93-95. They want me at or below 90 for fasting.

That would be me. Ugh!!! Are you taking insulin? I'm taking humalin.
