Maverick had his 4 month doctors appointment on Monday! He weighs 7 lbs, 13 ounces, is 20 3/4 inches long and his head is 14 3/4 inches around. His head is the only measurement that is on the growth chart for 4 month old and it's the 15th percentile. He has a ways to go to catch up but his personal growth chart is very steep! His doctor said that he can no longer hear his murmur and that he isn't worried about his PVL (periventricular lukomalacia) because he has purposeful movement in his legs. PVL is a condition in which part of his brain was killed during the last stages of my pregnancy or within the first few minutes after birth where he lost oxygen which caused his brain to die is some parts. His is very mild. It increases the risks for developmental problems and Cerebral Palsy. As of now we aren't worried about those things. He is a sweet growing boy, holds his head up, is trying to roll over and is laughing, smiling and cooing like crazy!
