We are in the line of totality. Our town is getting so hectic. We are in north ga. We do have glasses.

Curious as how much they're charging for glasses?

Hectic how? Nervous of it?

We will, but we made pinhole cameras as you can't find the glasses anywhere. We went to the library yesterday as they were having an Eclipse 101 to teach you about the Eclipse and give out glasses. There were 200+ ppl there an hour before it even started!

We're in the 90% view range. All the schools here are watching it I believe. I work in a daycare and parents are worried about kids going outside but the eclipse is during our naptime and we have black out curtains in all the rooms

I'll be able to view 70% of it. I'm gonna try the pinhole method:)

I don't know are percentage but everyone is making a huge deal out of it!! My husbands work gave them all the day off ?

We have people camping out on sides of the roads - people are renting fields out for parking at 50.00 a car. Apparently being in the 100% view is a big deal. I'll be glad for it to be over. Our town is selling the glasses for 1.00 a piece.

Oh wow yeah I heard on the news that hotels are sold out and getting a room could be around $1000 a room, crazy!!

We have glasses and idk how much they were we got them from my parents who are insanely excited. My mom said she saw the eclipse of 79'. We only have a 61% view here. I'll take it ☺️

They closed the schools here. "Inclement weather day". Just be careful. We have a guy who lives here that looked at the eclipse of '79 and now has vision problems. Ppl are renting out their screened porches for over $100/night.

I walked in the door at work and got handed a list of kids who aren't allowed to go outside at all today. So everytime a class goes outside we are having to shift kids around... it's great ?

We're only getting 64% but it's not gonna stop me from being the jacka** sitting on my porch playing "Total eclipse of the Heart" on full volume.

We had the full eclipse. It got pitch black with the stars came out. Defiantly a cool experience!

It's was cloudy and raining here. :( But it did get darker.

Idk what percent but we we seen the whole eclipse. It was so cool though. I'm in Missouri.

We got 65% and it was super cool to see!

We had about 2 minutes of total eclipse and i have to say it was way cooler than I expected. It got dark enough to see several planets like Jupiter & Venus. the temperature dropped like 15 degrees & animals got quiet. The best part was being able to take off the glasses to see the corona. It was like something from a sci-fi movie!

Oh, and glasses were being sold on the Nextdoor app for about $15-$20!!
