I'm new to Instagram. I only created the account to connect with moms from this app. I'm not even using it for family/friends. So I'm getting people requesting friendship and it's odd because it's usually pictures of guys that are built or guy models, or pictures of beautiful nature. I click on thinking maybe if there's a baby it's one of my friends from this app....but no babies...no pregnant lady...so I'm just not sure how Instagram works I guess. Does thus happen to you? Anyone can request friendship...I'm thinking these aren't even real profiles and there's a creepy old man behind the account....thoughts...

Make your profile private. And if you don't know them, just delete the request. It's usually spammers

I'm private and i still get random requests. I think they're spammer accounts who will eventually private message you about buying something. I got tricked and accepted a couple when i wasn't sure if they were fellow bb moms...
