Cranky/Gassy- breastfed babes
What are some foods you eat that you notice your baby doesn't tolerate well? I'm pretty sure that the little serving of chocolate chips I ate caused a lot of gas for my baby....she lets out some good screams too...sounded painful!

My baby is perpetually gassy. I wouldn't even know what's causing it :( from what the LC told me foods we eat can't really cause babies to be gassy. So I'm not sure. I just burp him.

I think dairy for sure! My 1st born is allergic to it (eczema) so I avoided it a lot when he was BF exclusively. When pregnant with my 2nd and after he was born, I have been CRAVING milkshakes (along with alfredo sauce, and all other things containing dairy). Def hasn't been sitting well with my bubs bc he is GASSY!! Like all the time. I can burp him (sometimes it works), but he farts a lot.

I'm in the same boat as Maddz. My LC said the same thing.

Improper latching really makes lo's gassy and fussy (for he/she is not getting enough milk. Try googling the proper way of latching. Making LO burp helps too, but make sure baby's awake when you make him/ger do it. Happy breastfeeding mommas! :)
