Haha. I was just telling my friend today that there is a reason we are the ones carrying the babies. God knew men could not handle nor understand it all.
This made me crack up ? guys are such buttheads sometimes. I'm a ftm, but I'm high risk so I'm going 2x a week from now on at 32w. I don't even ask him to go or remind him I'm going I just usually report after lol.
I'm a FTM and I'm also high risk. We go 2x a week and have since 28 weeks. Before that it was weekly. My husband knows the schedule and hasn't missed a single appointment yet.
Have to remind my husband of each appt everyday for like two days in advance and then make sure he leaves work on time. Dunno how men can be so absent minded at times.
Yeah my husband would be missing work to join me at the appointments. Even for the ultrasound I went alone but it honestly didn't phase me, I didn't ask him to come either, maybe cause it's our fourth or I'm becoming insensitive lol....I tell him later how things go, mostly how much weight I gained and we laugh. He's very caring and supportive and would drop work to rescue me but I'm just easy going that it doesn't bother me that he's not there. Maybe it should lol
@Shari, I think my husband is so wild and crazy about going as this is our first after trying for 5.5 years and 4 losses. I'm happy he's at every appointment. Ever since finding out our daughter had a heart problem, it's nice to have the support. Our first pregnancy we lost at 14 weeks. I went to the doctor alone because I had a bad feeling. I found out by myself that we lost our baby. I don't think I can ever go by myself again and he knows that. If for whatever reason he can't make it, my mom is available to step in. I developed PTSD sometime in the years of trying and losing them.
