Its hard to say. Depending on baby. Not many newborns because if ur baby is a 6/7#+ they outgrow them fast. More 1s and 2s. Babies r us has a huge box for $50 that is both 1s and 2s combined. Hospitals dont carry newborn diapers. They have always provided size 1s when i had my boys.

You can google an average amount of diapers to have stocked up. And try to use coupons and when deals are going on so you can get them cheaper! I have a years worth of diapers for our little girl.

You can get a box of Luvs at Amazon for cheap and you get 250 size 1 diapers in the box... Cheapest place my mom and K have found...

I was going to get one pack of newborn for the beginning because she is guessed to be small when ahe is born but I am interested in knowing as well regarding size 1s and 2s and some 3s so I can stock up for the first few months to lessen having to make runs to get some.

I'm getting just a few packs of newborns. My daughter was in newborns for almost 2 months. Tho so I'm anticipating needing a few. She was in ones about 3-4 months and 2s about 4-5. 3s about a year. Also they go through about 10-12 diapers the first 6 months so that's about 70 a week and a little over 300 for a month. Right now I have just over 800 size 1s and 1000 size 2s stocked up. Sounds like a lot but it really isn't.
