Spit up
My 3 week old is EBF and spits up after every single feed. It doesn't seem to bother her and she's definitely gaining weight, but my first born was EBF and never spit up at all so this is new to me. Any tips? For now I ensure she's sitting upright for at least 5 minutes after each side, but that hasn't really reduced anything yet.

My baby spits up 3-6x after each feed and i haven’t found anything that helps ?. I feel like she spits up her entire feed, but she’s gaining nicely so i guess not!

As long as they are gaining weight and not uncomfortable, they are what we refer to as a “happy spitter.” More of a laundry problem than a medical problem. My first was like this and we would seriously run out of clean clothes on a regular basis but he was in the 99th percentile!

Agreed with Little Lamb. Unless it’s in huge amounts or causing discomfort then it’s likely the baby gulped some extra air and is springing some up with it. My little guy does a little spit up because he’s like a chipmunk and stores some formula in his cheeks lol

You could try burping more often during feedings instead of just when you switch sides.

My little guy is spitting up a lot as well, if I burp him multiple times during/after feeds and sit him up for a while sometimes he won’t spit up. But it’s not foolproof and honestly I suspect that he suffers from reflux as he seems to be in pain now around feeding times.
