BounceRoo Feedback
Do any of you have the BounceRoo by 4moms? The MamaRoo seems pretty expensive so we're looking at maybe getting the BounceRoo, but I'm seeing mixed reviews online. It sounds like it's great while it lasts but seems to stop working pretty quickly. Curious if any mommies on here have feedback. Thanks!

Has anyone else thought of this nonsense with her being weird, not having consistent information etc. as seeming a whole lot like the beginning of Glee with the fake pregnancy?!

I purchased one because my son had colic. It paid for itself since I could cook supper again. I'm short and found it very difficult to baby wear in the kitchen. I'm not sure it's worth the money if your baby doesn't have colic. I didn't purchase one until my son had colic and before purchasing it I tested it out in the store to make sure he liked it.

All babies I've ever known have appreciate just the simple normal swing or bouncer-even colicky babies (my first had colic really bad). You don't need to go and blow hundreds and hundreds of dollars on something you'll only use for 6 months tops. After your baby is mobile, they most likely will not wanna sit in a swing or rocker, so to me it's a huge waste of money.

I got the Rockaroo from a mom swap site for 80.00. While I have not used it yet, I thought they were so unique and wanted to try one...without the price tag. The main reason is the portability of a "swing" that's so compact. Guess we will see if baby likes it!

So between the BounceRoo, RockaRoo, and MamaRoo I imagine the general consensus is the MamaRoo is best, but it's also got the heftiest price tag! Anyone have experience with all 3 to weigh in?

@mloescher thanks for helping me to put it into perspective! As a FTM I feel like I want to make sure I'm getting the best of everything for my baby girl, but I lose sight of just how long an item may actually be in use. I don't think I really realized before that 6 months is all the longer she'll be in a bouncer/swing/rocker!

My boys hated the mamaroo but loved the swing and bounce seat. All babies are different though so maybe yours will like it.

@Marla...which is why I bought the Rockaroo and my bassinest from a mom swap for half price. I also opted out of a travel system and got lucky finding a GB Asana infant carrier on clearance for 50.00! I feel better about having the baby grow quickly out of a 50.00 infant seat as opposed to a 200.00 infant carrier after 4 months ?
