Hand foot and mouth? I think Davis has it. Has anyone else dealt with it and how long did you have to keep them home?

He's doing much better now! It was definitely HFM. He had blisters on his feet too. Took a whole week to heal! Thanks for asking :)

Yes he's had a low grade fever for days. It's gotten much worse, so it's definitely HFMD. It's by far the worst illness he's picked up from daycare. He's miserable and in pain :( he has blisters on his lips, feet, and bum. It's awful !

Is he running a fever? If not, then he probably doesn't have it. My son gets a rash similar to this when he drools (like with teething) and his pacifier rubs on his face.

My daughter had it, she also got it in the diaper area the worst. She was sent home from daycare in the Friday and finally could go back on the following Friday.

Looks like its possible. Sadly doctors do not agree on how long they are contagious. Some say its before breakout, some say just during the fever and others till all spots are cleared. But the virus will stay in their poo for up to 6 months. And adults can catch it. I got it once when my oldest got it.

That looks like my sons mouth when he has had too much dairy. Or when pasta sauce sits on his face too long while eating. I hope your lol doesnt have HFM i heard its miserable...good luck
