Light sleeper....... Ugh my child is the lightest sleeper ever ! He wakes up to the smallest sound even with white noise…

Lyssabelle is the same way. It'll get better when they're toddlers. My nephew was the same and he's 3 now and sleeps heavier.

How's it going with the sleep consultant?

Oh good ! I was worried it might be like this forever lol. It's brutal ! Our house is small too so it's impossible not to wake him up. So far she's just given me some tips and I've been recording his sleeping / eating / waking patterns for 2 days and on Friday she will come for a 1.5 hour consultant and go in depth with us about a sleep plan for him. I'm looking forward to it because lately it's been brutal ! Last night I spent 2.5 hours from 3-530am trying to get him back to sleep.

Not sure what kind of noise machine you have but we have the DOHM sound machine . It was kind of expensive in my opinion but it is totally worth it ! Only way my two sleep through each others noise !!!

We have the DOHM too and baby boy loves it (from my assumptions). We have used it for him from day one.

My eldest was terrible with sleep when she was a baby up until around 1 year and a half then after that she would have deep sleeps where nothing would wake her up. I just think to myself it's just a phase and it'll soon go after they're 1 years old ☹️ I got a long wait yet but that time will come lol. And then you'll forget about this short space of time that they're light sleepers X

We use a fan for white noise. I use one myself too. It's pretty loud and drowns out a lot of noise. I have a crazy parrot that likes to scream during the day and he sleeps through that.

I have the graco slumber sleep machine which drowns out a little bit of the noise, but not a lot. We're installing a window air conditioner soon so that will help drown out the sounds of cars going by and people mowing their lawns at 9:00 at night :|
