TMI: I'm sorry ladies I hate to post this but I've gone to the clinic and the doctor didn't even look at the baby. He acted like I wasted his time meanwhile I'm the one who waited for 2.5 hours on a nurses recommendation.. The doctor just said "he's fine" and left. Anyway does this look normal ? He's ebf and just since Tuesday his poop had been green with mucus in it and it has the most awful smell.. I'm worried. I haven't eaten anything different, and nursing has been the same. He feeds for about 15 minutes on one boob and we don't switch boobs in one feeding, he just feeds on the next boob the next feeding. He has no fever or anything.

My daughters poop was like this as well we had a foreign/hind milk imbalance... I started supplementing 2 bottles of formula a day... And never have had a problem since then.. I also quite pumping for a little bit because I was making to much milk... Idk if this helps at all but that's what I ended up doing and it has worked out for her

It's weird though because I have been feeding the way I'm feeding since he was born (he only feeds on one breast at a time and for about 15-20 minutes. I've never switched boobs in one feed) I spoke to a lactation consultant in the past about fore milk/hind milk and she said that if the baby feeds for more than a few minutes than he's definitely getting the hind milk. It's only been recently that his poop has changed to this from the orangey seedy poop and now it just smells so awful and putrid.

It could be a dairy allergy if youre feeding long enough. Eliminate all dairy, soy, casein, whey. Itll take 6 weeks to get out of your systems.

Were you able to figure out what was wrong? This just started with my baby and I'm not sure what it is. I know what smell your talking about one day out of nowhere her mustardy diaper became unbearable to smell and this weird green. I knew it was something different.
