Pediatrician appointment .... Advice please !

So I had seen my family doctor for Davis's 2 month check up and at that point we hadn't gotten the lip tie released so my doctor gave me a referral to a pediatrician. It was for a month later. I didn't want to wait that long so I got the lip tie released at a pediatric dentist office. He checked briefly for a tongue tie but I'm almost positive he didn't check for a posterior tongue tie. We're still having issues breastfeeding at 3 months old.. Even if he manages to get a good latch he's constantly pulling off and swallowing weirdly because I can still hear air go straight to his stomach.. I didn't cancel the pediatrician appointment so I'm going to it today but I sort of feel guilty for keeping the appointment when originally it was for the lip tie... I don't know why I get like this but if I take him and they check for a posterior tongue tie and he doesn't have one, I feel bad for wasting their time.. I have been struggling so long with breast feeding (can only feed lying down) and I want help with it but is it a valid reason to see a specialist ? (Paediatricians here are considered specialists now and you cannot have one as your child's permanent Doctor). I have a couple other concerns too as he has a clogged tear duct that still hasn't cleared up... But What do you think ladies, am I just being ridiculous? Lol
