How do you dress your babies according to the weather ?!

I usually bring extra clothes with me.

Id get rid of the blanket. If he gets cold then put the blanket on him. I usually check my lo's nose and hands to determine if he is cold or not. Its 76° and sunny here today and my lo has been hanging out in a short sleeve onsie in the house today. I did put pants and socks on him when i ran out earlier!

I just put Miracle in long sleeves, socks, pants and a hat and a change of clothes if 2 much

I'd do a short sleeve shirt and long pants with socks and a light blanket if needed.

it's 70 here and she's just wearing a shirt-sleeved romper.

It's 75 here and he's in onsie/shorts type outfit.

Onesie should be enough ...is he in a pram? Is it breeze outside? In this case I might add muslin(?) swaddle blanket ( very loosely )over his body..

I've read that you should dress them like you would yourself plus 1. Although that can still be confusing to go at times...but its helped me.

Nose and hands are not a good indicator of baby's temperature as these can be cold even if the baby is warm due to their immature circulatory systems. Always check the back of their neck instead. It is safer for a baby to be too cold than too hot so better to understand dress than over dress! You can always add an extra blanket if they are cold.

Agreed with Biba. Our pediatrician said to check ears or back of neck to determine if they are comfortable or too hot/cold.

68 and sunny I'd do a light long sleeve onesie and pants..just to cover their skin from the sun. Today was 80 here and she was in a short sleeve onesie and pants, but I ended up taking the pants off to cool her down.

That kind of weather I will put LO in a short sleeve onesie & leggings & bring a little sweater.
