Decreased fetal movement
Decreased fetal movement
Hey ladies. I'm 24 weeks 3 days, and this week and half of last week I've noticed a lot less movement than before.. It kind of freaks me out and makes me worry that somethings wrong. Has this happened to anyone else ? Before I was able to drink something sugary and he would move shortly after but now I'm feeling only a few movements afterwards and that's about it.

I didn't feel movement at all for 4 days straight and my doctor told me not to worry because the baby is still really small and frequent movement won't start really happening until 28 weeks. I was worried and then they told me that and it made me feel better

Same here my son kicks all day long and hard and for the last 3 days I have only been feeling a few light kicks I'm hoping it's not because of how stressed out I am :(

My son has his lazy days that freak me out but that's all they really end up being. Probably tomorrow he will be all over the place. No worries! That's why they tell us not to count kicks until 28 weeks though. Try to relax. ?

With my first daughter, she got "tired" and didn't move as much. Around 23-25 weekish. They say that's because they are growing at a fast rate now. So they are sleeping. With this pregnancy it's happening again. I think it's normal.

I think i feel the same way there are days that this baby girl would move and makes me laugh with so much movements like last night to early this morning but the entire day today she could have been real tired from moving too much so her movement today wasnt as much. The other days she wouldnt move as much as the other days. I guess they get tired too u know. Im also 24weeks4days

With my first, she didn't move for two weeks, so I called my Dr who sent me to this tech who monitored her heartbeat. Her heart was strong and wanted to be lazy and sleep I guess. It scared me a lot because miscarriages are high in my family and I didn't want to experience a loss.

I'm 25 weeks 4 days today. I feel like my the baby's movement has decreased over the past few days as well. I got really worried last night because I felt like baby boys movement patterns were different yesterday. I realized at 9 pm that I hadn't felt anything since the afternoon. Even after eating ice cream and laying on my side for hours still nothing :(. I managed to calm myself and fall asleep. I felt kicks this morning. It helped me reading these reassuring comments, thank you for posting the question!
