Doppler trouble
I'm 19 weeks tomorrow but for the last couple of weeks it's been a lot harder to find baby's heart beat on my Doppler. I can hear it faintly in the background but it keeps picking up my heart beat as well. I managed to get it today long enough to calculate heart rate which was around 150, but I'm worried that I can't hear it as clearly as I did before. Anyone having the same issue ?

My doctor told me its normal. I'm 17 weeks an can't find her heartbeat all the time. He told me not to stress BC baby still has a lot of room to move.

It's been harder for me too. I try not to use it every single day anymore because I've had a couple of scares with my Doppler not finding her or me hearing it "go away" my doctor told me that they move a lot and we are not trained to use one so don't know exactly what we are hearing. Good luck mama !

Sometimes baby is just on the go. I know mine is! I've went in for a check up and ended up getting an ultrasound because he was not sitting still enough to find it. Maybe try a different time of the day. Or you can listen for movement if you couldn't find it.

Thanks ladies. Puts my mind at ease. He must be hanging out at the back of my uterus lol I have a midwife appointment on Tuesday and my anatomy scan on Saturday so I'll know for sure soon how everything is.
