Oh my gosh I hate to say it but I giggled a little while reading this I had a similar experience with my 2 year old at target. She thinks it's silly when you chase her and I was like waddle/running through the aisles trying to catch her I can only imagine how funny it looked to strangers hahahaha

I have a two year old boy and a three year old boy, when its just me n them out, it looks like I'm playing a good game of defense, people always laugh, it keeps me on my toes!! But the lightning crotch sucks!!

We had to start taking the small umbrella stroller EVERYWHERE because my SD likes to run around in the store and I refuse to chase her around

Oh I wish my guy would stay in a stroller! We've barely used one ever since he started walking! Haha I haven't even thought about a double one cause I don't think it'll be needed.

She only likes to walk when she's in places she can run off ? she either wants to be carried or she has to get in the stroller because with my sciatica I can no longer carry her

I don't have any other kids at the moment but I have two dachshunds and the little one likes to take off any chance he gets, while taking him to the vet he jumped from my arms and took off so fast and I looked ridiculous trying to catch him with my big ol belly! Oh man!

Just 2 weeks ago I had to run down the hall of the hospital I work at cause we had a code blue. I ended up jarring my back and pinching a nerve from running ?, needless to say I'm going to try my best to refrain from running anymore

I don't have much experience running after little kids but @jvenegas I totally feel you! Dachshunds are so bad about running off and when you get angry they just kinda flop on their backs and won't budge!!

Lightening crotch - enough said...this is my third little one, and by the end of the day I can hardly walk/waddle.

With my son at a very young age we would practice "freeze" make it in to a game just have him freeze for a couple seconds and let him run off etc. than we worked on "stop sign". When I yell "stop sign" he freezes. This is also great because when he sees a stop sign he knows he needs to stop :) but with youngest he a Bolter too!! We are doing what we did with big brother but he just needs to run. So we got a backpack leash. Gosh those are life savers now that it's becoming to hard to babywear with a big ol belly

My two year old is crazy like that, too. I'm so tempted to get one of those back pack leash things.

Those backpack leashes have been a huge saver with my youngest!! I always said I'd never be that parent but gosh when it's either your kid becomes a pancake in the middle of the street or being able to keep him by my side. I choose the backpack. We only use it if I'm buy my self. If I have help with me, we just let him run.
