I honestly don’t recommend you go to Sinaloa if you don’t need to. I have family out there but haven’t gone in years simply because of how dangerous it has become. My aunt was assaulted at gun point and had her vehicle stolen a couple weeks ago.

I would only go to an area in Mexico that's safe.. I have family down there that live in a very safe area (in comparison) and my SIL witnessed a man get shot in the middle of the street the other day...

I'm feeling sick and bored in bed so I just googled travel advisory info for Sinaloa. And there's no way in hell I'd want to be travelling there! Especially with a baby!

I wouldn't be okay with him going for 2 weeks, but I also wouldn't go to Mexico right now either.

It all seems very fishy. Unless his parents live there or something but he knows it's not safe for you and LO. That's the only reason I could excuse really.

We usually travel out there for the holiday with his dads side of the family he says I have nothing to worry about since he's traveling with my FIL. But I'm to the point I don't know if I wanna start a argument about this or just let him go while I stay back home. So confused. He's only going for Vacation..

I'd tell him to have fun on his vacation and that his stuff would be packed and at his parents house when he gets back. My dh would never take a vacation without me and our kids. And he definitely wouldn't be heading somewhere that is so unstable and unsafe.

If it’s solely for you and your babies safety then it’s understandable, it is bad out there, but for any other reason I’d be VERY upset.

Well for one it's unsafe so I agree with him that y'all shouldn't go. Is this for work? To visit family? Or just for fun? I wouldn't be happy about it because like I said it's unsafe, but I'd be more understanding if there was a legit reason for him to go.
