It depends why he's going. Is anyone going with him? I would feel weird about it if he was going by himself for two weeks and wouldn't let me go. That'd raise a red flag to me.

We usually travel out there for the holiday with his dads side of the family he says I have nothing to worry about since he's traveling with my FIL. I'm if he is only going for vacation I would ask why without you and the LO.

I personally wouldn't let my DH go somewhere for "vaction" without me, especially if I'm stuck home with the child and he is out having a break that I do deserve too.

If my husband was going for a guys weekend or something I would be like see you later don't spend to much on strippers and I'm not sending bail money.

Being pregnant with a 2 year old as well there are many things he wouldn't be able to to if we went with him without leaving us behind.

We both had jobs that required a lot of travel and time away since we got together so a few days to a week apart us is no big deal.

Yea, absolutely. My husband's a grown man and deserves him time. I expect and receieve the same from him for myself. 2 weeks isn't very long.

I guess I can understand why. My husband's family lives in Puebla in Mexico, and he doesn't want me or my son going there until A)our kids are much older B) he decides if it's safe enough to take me. A freaking kid was just kidnapped and eviscerated for the black market in that town, so I'm totally fine with hubby going without us and our children. Plus, he's a grown up. I don't "let" or "allow" him to do anything. Just like he doesn't make decisions for me.

No i think you guys should plan a family trip instead ur a sahm you deserve a break as well if not more its horrible having to stay at home by yourself with the kids
