So some advice to any and all pregnant woman:

Dont get the Depo Shot right after you have a baby I got the shot 2 days after I had my daughter and my periods have not been the same this is how its been since december:

56 days on / 37 days off

23 days on / 06 days off

Present: 25 days

And it doesn't look like its going to stop anytime soon

The doctor was supposed to tie my tube but he said I was to fat and to get the depo shot and come back in 3 months after I lost weight then went to the doctor for my 6 week and to schedule my tubal and tell them I have not stopped bleeding and they said its normal and I have to deal with it and I was suppose to have the surgery in February they didnt schedule it until April im 25 with 3 kids I was 1 month away from being 25 in February so plz consider other options before going to the depo shot that was the first and only time I will ever take it

@mom47173, yeah you need a new doctor I’d call a make an appointment at a high risk women’s care group or something because high risk doctors are the best I was high risk in the beginning of my pregnancy and they were so good about checking stuff every time I went

@mom47173, no your doctor done the wrong thing by putting you on birth control I always tell them no when they asked me if I wanted birth control, doctors don’t always know what’s best for you sometimes you know better then the doctor does

@mom47173, Did you that birth control can cause you to have PCOS? PCOS can cause you to have irregular periods and extremely painful, and heavy periods, I’ve always had PCOS since I started my periods when I was 9 but when I went on birth control when I was 16 I was on it for 3 years and it made my periods worse and caused me to have more cysts on my ovaries so it just destroyed my ovaries so I was told I wouldn’t have kids but just last year God healed me and gave me my handsome rainbow baby after I struggled for 2 years to get pregnant

@mom47173, you need a new dr. Depo is known to cause weight gain. If he wanted you to lose weight, he definitely shouldn’t have put you on that birth control.

This is why I don’t take birth control, PCOS does not work well with birth control
