Possible placenta accreta
I had my anatomy scan today and told I might have placenta accreta where my placenta has grown into the uterus. I'm terrified. My dr was super laid back and said it might not even be and they will recheck in 2 weeks and then do an MRI if needed. He said worst case i could hemorrhage and need a hysterectomy if it was real bad after delivery. ?I'm not planning on more children but I'm scared.

That would be a lot to take in!
A girl from my home state is currently 30w with 'percretia' - cervix & bladder invasion as well, & suspected bowel.
She is facing a cesarean delivery + hysterectomy as well as major surgery at that same point to try & separate everything. A team of surgeons are involved & planning!
