Where does toddler sleep?

I switched my son over to his toddler bed at 2. Mainly because i was super excited about a pirate ship bed i bought for him ?. But the switch went over well! He loved that he felt more like a big boy! Hes 3 now and he still will wait for us to get out of bed, otherwise he stays in bed.

My first boy went to a toddler bed around 16 months. He would climb in and out. Right now my 14 month old is still in a crib, but when I tell him it's night night time he has been going to his brother's bed and climbing in. I'm trying to decide if I should move my 2.5 year old to a twin bed and move my 14 moth old to the toddler bed before or after baby. They also will be moving into a room together.

Personally I would keep them in a crib as long as you can. Especially if they do well in the crib and stay there.

I am pregnant with baby#2 and when the baby arrives my son will also be 2. He also does well in his crib so we are probably going to keep him in there as long as we can. We are going to have to get another crib.

I just switched my 1.5 year old to a toddler bed and the baby will sleep in the crib.

We're in the same situation. I'm not sure if I'm ready for him to be able to get out of bed by himself. I worry about him trying to go downstairs by himself! However, I don't want to get another crib since he'll be almost 2 when the baby comes. I'm thinking we will do another crib. The longer they're in the crib the better!

My 2.5 year old is in a toddler bed. She started getting out of her crib before she turned 2 and for safety, we had to switch her to a bed. It also is more practical now that we are potty training because she needs to be able to get to the bathroom. I'm not going to lie, it was tough at first, but she's been so much better recently.

When I was pregnant with my second, my oldest didn't want to be in a crib anymore. She cried at every nap time and bed time. So when she was 15 months old we transitioned her to the twin bed that she had in her room and she never complained about going to sleep or anything. At that point it was harder to fool around with DH bc of it. Bc one night around 3 she came waltzing into our bedroom and asked, "daddy what are you doing to mommy?" Lol. I was mortified. I wasn't fully undressed so I walked her to her room and put her back to sleep. Since then we've been locking our door when we fool around at night.

My son will be 2 this week. We've had him in a toddler bed for months. I'm short so with the crib on the lowest setting if he would fall asleep on the couch or something I couldn't put him in bed without hanging over the railing and squashing my belly. He still wakes up sometimes and crawls in with me. Baby will be sleeping in my room though until my mother moves out of our house.
