Yeah I shouldn't be ovulating for another week. I just wanted to start my opk early cause I wanna be sure. Didn't expect it to be this dark already though! But who knows. It still might be another week! I didn't wanna have to buy more opk before my cheapies get here but now I think I should!

This happened to me too! So I asked my nurse and she said that you can have mini rises of LH before the actual surge or you can also just have high levels LH. So for me, I start testing around day 7 and they usually are quite dark (but not positive), then they calm down a bit and then I can see my surge. The first time this happened I was like oh crap we need to get to it right away but sure enough it never went positive until like 10 days later. How long is your cycle?

Mine is 33-35 days and I usually ovulate around cd16-19.

Thanks VM! I usually have around 30 day cycles and ovulate on day 14-16. That's why this is weird but what you said makes sense!

Mine was the same this month... Think it was cd 6 and 7 then it went to nothing and got pos opk today cd 17 im avg 31 days. If that is of any help.

I have been a bit worried about it tbh because I heard high LH throughout your cycle can mean PCOS but I think that's when you're getting constant positives and mine have been like this (fairly dark but not positive) so it makes me feel a bit better that I'm not alone

I'm on CD10 now so just hoping I do ovulate around CD15 as usual and haven't missed it as I've been ill and we haven't BD'd at all x
