Baby wakes early but not crying

Connor does this about half 6, I chuck him a toy and he plays with it, I change his bum, offer him the boob then around half 7 he'll settle himself back down too sleep, well at the moment anyway his pattern always changes

Carter will do this sometimes, I just leave him and he will sometimes put himself back to sleep. I like the habit if they wake content, it's ok for them to wake and play.

Nolan does this every morning, I just leave him there and either he talks for an hour or he falls back to sleep. I don't go and get him until he actually cries.

Ok thanks guys! I was leaving him but then I didn't know if that was mean lol

I leave him be. If he has a full diaper, I'll change him and give him a toy and let him roll around in his crib some more. He usually falls back to sleep.

We turn on my sons singing hippo and he watches the lights change color and will fall back asleep

My girl does the same. I just leave her because if she can entertain herself for awhile, I don't have to bend over backwards all day trying to entertain her.

I let him be today and he rolled to his tummy and went back to sleep. Too bad momma is too worried about him sleeping on his tummy to sleep herself!

@penneflower I understand the belly thing but if he can roll himself, he is fine. I'm dealing with the same thing but Brady is so strong, I know he is fine :)

Thanks I worry cause he can't figure out how to roll back and he gets himself in the corners and way on the edge with his arms sticking out. I took off my mesh bumper cause he was burying his face in it and grabbing it.

Faith does this too. She'll wake, then coo or squawk once or twice until I rouse and flash me the hugest smile when I peek over at her. It's nice that she doesn't wake up screaming anymore lol

I usually lie there for a few minutes and then change and feed her. I haven't tried just letting her put herself back to sleep. I'm gonna try tomorrow :)
