Refusing breast
Lately my LO has been refusing the breast a lot. He will usually nurse first thing in the morning but then it's hit or miss the rest of the day. Sometimes if I give him a couple ounces in a bottle then he will nurse. I think it's because I've started a new job where I am working 12 hour days. I was working nights before so there are whole days when he gets bottles. ? is anyone else going through this? I am pumping but I really miss the bonding that we used to have.

Mine isn't necessarily refusing the breast but she's been pretty fussy recently. She tugs a lot which is really uncomfortable. I figure it's a growth spurt and she's just not getting the milk as fast as she wants. Babies sometimes do that if they get bottles as well because the milk comes out faster from a bottle than the breast. Keep trying. It may get better. You might try speaking with a lactation consultant. They're brilliant.

Mine isn't refusing, but she pops on and off about a dozen times while nursing. She's super distracted.

Thanks I will keep trying. My supply isn't the greatest but sometimes he refuses and cries and won't even latch. I guess he knows what's coming lol

I have experimented today and he will latch fine if I give him a little in a bottle first. I just don't know about this boy lol
