Blood Clot stuck in uterus
I'm 8 wk pp and I went to dr today for continued bleeding and severe cramps. Turns out I have a large blood clot still in my uterus and endometritis (an infection in my uterus). Has anyone had this? I am on antibiotics now and I will get another ultrasound next week to check to see if the clot is gone. If not I'll get a d&c.

Any other news? I have to get checked for a blood clot stuck in my uterus as well... I had the uterine infection as well.

I went back after a week of antibiotics and had a repeat ultrasound. The blood clot was smaller and I was feeling a lot better so she said lets just repeat the scan in 2 weeks but that it should just clear itself up. That was 1 week ago. I finished the antibiotics and I'm feeling great now. No cramping. No bleeding. I'm getting another ultrasound next week to make sure it's cleared up but all should be fine I think. What did your dr say?
