I shop multiple stores and cross check prices like it's my job. I got our turkey for free because of a store promotion, so that saved a lot, but the rest was just playing with the prices. I have 8 people to feed and no extra money in the grocery budget for the month
I normally spend about $60/week for groceries, so I have adjusted throughout the month to allow for the extras for the holiday.

I spent $210 today and almost all of it was just thanksgiving food! We’re feeding 12 on Thursday.
