They will get along! It took a little bit for him to warm up to her, but they're best friends. And they protect each other from the world. It's amazing to see.

Turns out #2 IS a girl ? How big is the age difference between your two sweethearts? So far our son (19 mo) is not interested AT ALL in children his age or younger, so I really hope it turns out as well as it did for you ?

Congratulations! They're not quite 3 1/2 years apart. Aidan really wanted nothing to do with Harper initially-other than to tell her to stop crying. Lol but they're good buddies now. You just have to try to keep some of the same routine for your oldest. Initially I still took just him grocery shopping, and we had lunch dates and library trips-just scheduled around my husbands work schedule so that it was still mommy and Aidan time like it had been before he was born. That seemed to help a lot. We also let him help decorate the nursery for her and pick out clothes and a gift for her. Anything to have him involved and feel like she was adding to his fun, not taking from it. We also purchased him a big brother gift from Harper and gave it to him the day she was born.
