Fruit cake
Help! I need a fruitcake recipe. My mom has been not so subtly hinting that she wants a homemade fruitcake for Christmas. Every recipe I find requires it to cure for 2 weeks, so I need one that doesn't require that level of investment. I don't eat fruitcake so I had no idea that it requires so much time.

Maybe try Pinterest? I'm sure there would be recipes you could try there!
ETA: Oh yeah, Pinterest has some!! Just search under "quick fruitcake" ?

I'll look there-I tried allrecipes, but the ones with good reviews were pretty intense.
I swear my mom is the only person who actually likes fruit cake, pp. lol
