Quick!! Outfit help!
I have a follow up interview today for a position I initially interviewed for last week. I wore a business suit and met with the woman who would be my boss, the executive director and the assistant director. Today I am meeting with the woman who would be my boss and 2 people who will be my colleagues in the department. Here's my question: do I wear a suit again or can I wear other professional clothes? I only brought one suit with me to California, the rest are coming out in 2 weeks, so if I wear the suit, it will be the same one I wore last week but with a different blouse. My husband says my other professional clothes are more than adequate. My mom says I must wear a suit. I have to leave in 2 hours and I'm a nervous wreck because of the outfit. What do you think?

Ok. Even though she's seen the suit before? She does know we are in the process of relocating, but I don't want to look like I'm not "fresh" for this interview.

It's highly unlikely she will recognize its the same suit especially if you wear a different blouse. I have a few suits that look exactly the same because they're black or blue and no one thinks I'm wearing the same one. Good luck today and no need to stress about your outfit

If you are wearing a different blouse, it'll make it look completely different. Most of my dress pants for work look very similar, I think she might not even notice it's the same suit!

I don't, lgoins. I thought I brought my black pencil skirt with me and brought the navy blue one. ?
I hope you're right and she doesn't notice-I'll wear different shoes as well and carry a different pocket book. Maybe that will help.

Same suit with different blouse and accessories. Maybe do your hair a little different also? Remember they notice confidence and knowledge!

Thanks, ladies! The only unique aspect to the suit is that it has 3/4 length sleeves, other than that it's just a black, summer weight suit.
I'll definitely adjust the accessories-my big curly fro doesn't do much besides what it does. Lol
And pp, you sound like my husband. Confidence is just as important as the outfit.

A lot of my moms dress suits look the same. She could wear the same one everyday for a week just swapping blouses and no one would ever know. Just be confident and calm. Good luck!
