Why? Why must I torture myself?
Why? Why must I torture myself?
Somehow, I thought shopping for shorts 12 days after giving birth would be a good idea. Someone should have slapped me before I walked into the dressing room.

I ended up 2 sizes above my normal size and gave up. Blah.

I couldn't wear 'real clothes' for months after my first was born. At first because nothing fit & it was depressing & then I was just scared & traumatized to try anything on.

I tried putting my pre pregnancy jeans on one week postpartum.

This is why I haven't gone shopping... Lol

I'm wearing dresses all summer. I'll save the torture for the fall lol

Yup, everytime I pass by a full length mirror!

Glad to know I'm not alone. I kept saying "you just gave birth. Be kind to yourself" but all I could see was my gut flopped over the waistband. This morning I was celebrating having lost half the weight I gained...what a buzzkill.

Oh yeah. Its torture. Thats why I'm setting realistic goals for myself this time around. I did the same thing a month pp with baby number one. So crushed and sad.

I have a 12 day old and I'm still wearing maternity clothes :(

Can't wait for my post partum body adventure!

Yeah, I keep trying on my pregnancy clothes thinking " maybe this time it'll fit"!? They never do?

Thank god maternity leggings are so comfortable. I have a feeling I will be living in them post partum.

I've been living in maternity clothes too, but it's so hot now that shorts are a necessity. I find it ironic how much I loved my bump pregnant but now I just want it gone.
