IVF after chemical?
Can I continue with my plan to start IVF with next period if I just had a chemical pregnancy?
I started my bcp on second day of my period, Putting IVF start date at October 26, and just for piece of mind, because I will order my meds this week at over 5K, I took a hpt. To my surprise it was positive. Doesn’t make sense? I just had my period? Now things seem to add up to a chemical. First beta on Monday was 40 and took my second beta this morning. It’s just crazy that this happened the month leading up to IVF. I would’ve never even known if I hadn’t taken that test for peace of mind. How ironic?
Thanks. I’m hoping I’ll be at zero by the end of the month. I should get my second beta results later today.
They bounced around for a little over a week my last one was less than 2 but they were at zero by my next period. I was planning to start stims the same month as finding out I had the chemical so it pushed it back a month. If yours is a chemical I think you'll be able to start with your next period.
It was 40 on Monday and I have my second beta tomorrow. I hope it gets to zero by end of October. My husband is having surgery in November so we would have to wait till next year.?
I saw your other post but now can't find it. My hcgs have always gone to zero within 3 weeks. That's when I had hcgs in the 10ks at 5 weeks and even when my hcgs never went above 1k. I would say if your hcg hasn't went beyond 40 it will take maybe 1.5-2 weeks. Thr issue I've found with hcg is once it is below 100 it takes forever or at least feels that way.
Wow did you get to order the meds? Nice but at least you got pregnant naturally.
